Ergobaby Infant Inserts are designed for use with all Ergobaby Carriers from birth until baby has developed head control - approximately 4-5 months old.
The Ergobaby Original Infant Insert comprises two separate components for newborn head and neck support - a cushioned outer shell and a removable pillow. The components can be used together and separately to properly support newborns of varying sizes and at different stages of development. The Original Insert combines a soft 100% cotton poplin fabric outer with 100% cotton filling. Designed to match the materials of the Ergobaby Original Carriers, the insert can also be used with Ergobaby Performance,Ergobaby Organic, Ergobaby Sport, Ergobaby Travel and Ergobaby Designer carrier collections.
The Ergobaby Original Infant Insert features:
Developed with health professionals to provide ergonomic support for growing baby bodies
Two key design components: the cushioned outer shell combined with the removable pillow - used together to ensure newborns have excellent head and neck support
Smaller infants that have strong head and neck control can use the pillow without the cushioned outer shell (recommended for babies over 4 months, but less than 5.5kgs)
Larger newborns that still need the head and neck support can use the cushioned outer shell, without the removable pillow (recommended for babies under 4 months, but more than 5.5kgs)
Machine washable: Cold with mild detergent on gentle cycle. Dry on delicate cycle and remove when seams are still damp. Air dry.
Required from birth to 4-5 months (3.2 to 5.5kgs) till baby has developed head control
